Ping Pong and Mujirushi

Since the last podcast and this podcast, the Chicago White Sox have gotten into the playoffs for the first time since 2008, and subsequently lost two games in a row to the Oakland Athletics after wining game one, and are now out of the playoffs. At least we’ll always have those literal six perfect innings from Giolito.

This episode, we’re talking about Taiyo Matsumoto’s Ping Pong and Naoki Urasawa’s Mujirushi: The Sign of Dreams!

The music you heard in this episode was “Tada Hitori” by Bakudan Johnny from Ping Pong the Animation!

As always, you can find me on Twitter @ImpassionateK, and my co-hosts Helen (@WanderinDreamr) and Apryll (@manjiorin) on Twitter at those places in the parenthesis. You can find both of their writing at The Organization of Anti-Social Geniuses, more of Helen’s writing at Narrative Investigations, and my writing at the Fandom Post.

Listen to the Taiiku Podcast episode on Ping Pong, and the previous Manga In Your Ears episode on the other Louvre manga we talked about, Cats in the Louvre.
