Barakamon and Heterogenia Linguistico

I didn’t know if I’d be excited for baseball season when it came along, but here we are at spring training and I am very excited despite a two-time drunk driver at the helm for the White Sox and the Mariners former president and CEO spouting what I assume all or most baseball CEOs believe about their players of color. MLB sucks, but baseball is great.

This episode, we talk about Satsuki Yoshino’s Barakamon and Salt Seno’s Heterogenia Linguistico, both published by Yen Press.

The songs you heard in this episode are “Rashisa” by SUPER BEAVER and “Innocence” by NoisyCell, both from the Barakamon anime.

As always, you can find me on Twitter @ImpassionateK, and my co-hosts Helen (@WanderinDreamr) and Apryll (@manjiorin) on Twitter at those places in the parenthesis. You can find both of their writing at The Organization of Anti-Social Geniuses, more of Helen’s writing at Narrative Investigations, and my writing at the Fandom Post.
